Roman Fedortsov, a 39-year-old fisherman from Murmansk, northern Russia, recently caught the attention of the internet with his discovery of a strange creature from the depths of the ocean.
Roman was working on a commercial fishing boat, primarily fishing for cod and mackerel, when he accidentally pulled up a net containing the unusual creature.

The creature has a unique appearance, featuring big eyes, a long tail, and wings, leading Roman to describe it as a newborn baby dragon.
However, its true identity remains a mystery, leaving Roman and his followers perplexed.

Roman Fedortsov is a marine science graduate from Murmansk University, and he is also an expert in fish process ing and preparation. He believes that all fish are beautiful in their way, and even the strange-looking ones are fascinating.
He further explained that most of these strange-looking fish do not survive long after being brought ashore due to the pressure difference compared to their deep-water habitat.

Roman posted a photo of the mysterious creature on his Instagram account, which boasts more than 646,000 followers, and asked netizens to help identify the creature.
The post received over 22,000 likes and hundreds of comments, with most expressing surprise and shock at the creature’s unusual appearance.

Netizens commented, “I can’t recognize it as a fish that lives in the sea,” and “Indeed, what exists on the seabed is very unusual, humans have not yet discovered it,” among others.
Roman has caught many strange-shaped creatures in the waters of Norway and the Barents in the north of Russia, which often live in the deep sea of the Atlantic Ocean.
In conclusion, Roman Fedortsov’s discovery of a mysterious creature from the depths of the ocean has once again reminded us of the incredible diversity of marine life.
Despite our advancements in technology, there is still so much we have yet to learn about our oceans and the creatures that inhabit them.
